I am a musician, painter, graphic designer, and website designer. As a musician, I dabble in a bit of sound recording, played in a few bands, and have been involved with music since I was 11 and guitar since I was about 13. As a painter, in 2006, I was accepted into one of the top ranked art festivals in the nation, the Des Moines Arts Festival as an Emerging Artist. As a graphic designer, in 2005, I recieved an Award of Excellence from the Art Directors Association of Iowa for Digital Illustration. As a website designer, well, that is coming in strides. I push myself to know and keep up with the most current SEO tactics, languages, and create websites based not only on good design but usability.

I see myself as an artist mind with an urge to learn some of the technical aspects. I am always learning and keeping up with new things in the world of art and design. One of my many mottos is if I don't know it, then I will learn in it.

Ever since I can remember I have always been interested in art in one way or another. I have always been involved in classes, studies and finally gaining my degrees in both Graphic Design and Visual Arts from Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. I believe in life long learning. I strive to continue to learn new and creative design.

I am a self taught CSS/XHTML guru with an emphasis on cross web browsers compatibility, search engine optimization and web standards. I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Mac and PC formats. I am also versed in Flash, HTML and InDesign. My ambition to learn has helped to keep up on design trends, standards, and focus on quality design and functionality.

Hard work has always been engrained into my way of life. This came from my grandparents. They came to the United States with their parents over 65 years ago. My grandparents then decided to open a restaurant and work to raise their family. 47 years later, with hard work, customer loyalty, and dedication the community they now have 5 thriving stores.

From these values I have learned to dedicate myself to my work, art and potential clients.
